"ClubTegal"

Placing an order
Your local regional order processing departments can process your orders the same day or you can fax through to the corporate office on +1 707 763 3487.
Parts Order type
There are two main types of order placement:
P2 for normal orders; our aim is to deliver the requested parts to you on the day you require them.
P1 emergency orders; for systems down only, and will be shipped directly to you within the same or next working day
Spare parts order contracts.
Tegal specialize in spare parts contracts where you the customer can benefit from bulk purchases over specific time periods at cost competitive prices. Parts contracts can be fixed, variable, partial or full contracts and can also be included in or rolled into service labor contracts for a single billing purpose.

Coverage
Our regional offices have the ability to look at our global warehouses to see where we have your required stock be it a P1 or P2 order. This enables you the customer to process your order 24/7.
Warranty
Tegal standard warranty on all spare parts is ninety (90) days from receipt at customer.
Returns and re-stocking fee's.
All orders, except specials, may be returned to Tegal within thirty (30) days of receipt. A restocking fee of 25% of the price will be applied to returns of non-defective parts. All parts must follow the return materials authorization process (RMA), be in original packing, unopened and undamaged.
Repairs
Tegal offers a comprehensive and fully warranted repair system for your needs. If you would like to return a part for repair instead of replacing parts at additional costs then Tegal can help you.
If your part is un-repairable Tegal will offer either re-worked part or new part subject to availability. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Reworked & Exchange parts - RW
Check your parts requirements against Tegal's "RW" parts listing. Same Tegal part number with an "RW" at the end will get you a repaired part at 75% of the new listed price.
You can also exchange parts for "RW" or new, if required giving you the customer a considerable saving. The exchange savings will be calculated on the reparability of the returned item, once at Tegal.
System Upgrades
System upgrades are available for all Tegal product lines, which include Etch, PVD & NLD. Not sure which upgrade you want? Then speak with your local Field Service Operation's people or Technical Support and we will be happy to advise you.
Basic system upgrades are available as a result of Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP) and can reflect cost of ownership (CoO) savings and a quick return on Investment (ROI). These upgrades generally reflect better tool efficiency and reliability. Tegal upgrades will advise you the customer, the following information to assist you in making the right decision:
- Feature , Describes the feature and purpose of the upgrade and how that upgrade would improve your system.
- Benefit , Outlines the technical specifics of the capability of the upgrade
- Pricing , Identifies pricing and warranty status
- Savings , Details the ROI based on either;
- A dollar value,
- Time/hour value so that you can calculate ROI bases on, fab cost hour,
- Or overall improvement that encompasses not just time and money but could also include, for example, improved diagnostics, better reporting etc.
Major systems upgrades such as Tegal's Advanced Control System ( ACS ) upgrade available for all of the 900 & 980 series product line of plasma etchers.
These major upgrades, whatever the system product line, include all of the above information in Features, Benefits, Pricing, and Savings and can be retrofitted at Tegal or in some cases at the customer site. These upgrades include:
- System audit to check current system revision and upgrade-ability
- Full system audit report detailing all technical specification, possible requirements and pricing
- If a Tegal factory fitted upgrade is preferred your system will be final tested with you the customer
- If a field upgrade is preferred Tegal will;
- Advise on fab facilitization and requirements
- Complete upgrade at customers site
- Full Tegal re-installs of the system
- Full Tegal hardware acceptance process
- Full Tegal Process verification (PV) ready for production
- Hand over to customer production line
- Warranty as defined by the upgrade

RW parts are applicable only to parts such as some modular PCB's, RF Generators, Power Supplies, etc. Exchange parts will offer a credit on the replacement part only after validation the returned exchange part can be repaired, and what cost was involved.
